Jwala And Compton Make 2013 Debuts . . .
This evening we have two 2013 debutantes …
Compton makes his first start for us since being brought at the Tattersalls Horses In Training sales during October last year. He runs this evening in the 5.15pm at Newbury, a Class 2 Handicap over the minimum distance. He has William Buick on board in the Orange, Purple and Green colours of Mr T W Morley.
We have Jwala making her seasonal debut at Bath this evening in the 6.30pm, Lansdown Fillies Stakes, a Listed event over 5f. She is a lovely scopey filly with lots of potential, having had a successful career to date. She finished her 2012 season with an excellent 2nd to Sole Power in the Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster. We know she likes Bath, having won there on her 2012 debut, under her regular Jockey, Shane Kelly. We hope today will be the same scenario for her Owner and Breeder, Manor Farm Stud . . .
