Chelmsford and Nottingham
Two head to each track today to take part in racing this afternoon and evening. First off and heading to post together for the 4.30 pm 76-95 Handicap Stakes race at Chelmsford are Cowboy Soldier and Grandfather Tom. Cowboy Soldier has been remarkably consistent in his short career always finishing within the places and should put in a good account again today Ryan Moore is in the saddle today for Mrs Fitri Hay. Grandfather Tom is showing signs of a return to form finishing up as runner up at Yarmouth last time out, he has it in him so fingers crossed he stays involved in this small field today. Good luck to stable apprentice Eoin Walsh riding in the colours of Mr Jeff Sargeant.
Onto this evenings meeting at Nottingham where Blue De Vega makes his next run after victory at Ascot just over 2 weeks ago he is one of only 4 runners so lets hope he can repeat his feat today in the 7.05 pm EBF Conditions stakes over the minimum distance. Oisin Murphy is back on board for the Blue De Vega Partnership. In the next race we have Bottisham Heath Stud owned Indian Tinker making his second start of the season, he is on a good mark and always tries his hardest – he seems to fair well at Nottingham so lets see how he gets on.
