Derby Day At Epsom Downs . . .
Always a day on the racing calendar to look forward to either being lucky enough to be involved in it or go along to the meeting or to watch it on TV – It is one of racings pinnacle days . . . Again this year we are lucky enough to be on the card with contenders in the Investec DASH Handicap over the 5 furlongs, down hill all the way!!! . . . BLUE DE VEGA and STORM OVER will line up at 3.45pm. The ground is now officially described as Good to Soft, Good in places. Both our horses will like a bit of cut in the ground and we will have our fingers firmly crossed that come 3.46pm we are cheering victory. It is a hot and competitive race as always and one that comes with a great price pot (£61,590 to the winner) that would be lovely to pick up!!!

We then have two fillies heading north to Doncaster for the 4.50pm, Novice Stakes for three year olds and upwards over 5 furlongs. MADAM DEVIOUS impressed on debut at Thirsk at the start of May. WARRIOR GODDESS is making her career debut – Both fillies certainly have their racing futures in front of them . . .
