Lingfield and Nottingham
Two fillies head for Nottingham this afternoon…. First off and making her career debut is 2 year old dark grey Fen Caroline she is off in the 1m 0.5f Maiden Fillies Stakes at 2.30 pm. It will be a good experience for her today and she is in the safe hands of Luke Morris today for owner Mr Dan Tunmore. Following her at 4.40 pm is the more experienced Ocelot who takes on the competition in the 71-85 Handicap Stakes over 5 furlongs, she is a lovely filly who has enjoyed three victories earlier in the year on firmer ground. Daniel Tudhope rides in the silks of Manor Farm Stud.
Bahamian Heights or Barry as he is affectionately known in the yard is our only runner heading for Lingfield Park ready for the 5.05 pm 61-75 Handicap Stakes over 6 furlongs. He is showing signs of some improvement here at home, fingers crossed he behaves in the gate, gets a good start and gets away well. Our apprentice Jonathan Fisher who knows him extremely well is in the saddle today for Mrs Morley and Mr and Mrs Rix.
