A busy day…
Our first three runners left the yard early to make their way to Catterick Bridge ahead of their races. First to race in the Fillies Novice Stakes over the minimum trip are two year old’s Cool Baby and May Girl. Cool Baby makes her debut today, she is certainly ready for action and we felt this was the right introduction for her. She has Tom Eaves onboard and they run in the colours of Mr Khalifa Dasmal. Cool Baby makes her second start after making her debut at Yarmouth last month. Our apprentice Jonathan Fisher gets the leg up for us here at Bottisham Heath Stud. Last to go at Catterick in the 4.55 pm 56-75 Handicap Stakes is Wadood who won a maiden over track and trip last year and won at Yarmouth at the end of June. He is a plucky horse and we have no doubt there is more to come from him. Phil Makin rides for Mr Abdulla Al Mansoori. Onto Sandown Park where Ocelot is off at 6.05 pm in the 66-85 Handicap Stakes over 5 furlongs. She has enjoyed two wins from three starts so far this year lets hope she can add to the collection today. Tom Marquand rides for Manor Farm Stud. Last to go at Yarmouth is Wild Approach who runs in the last race of the evening the 8.50 pm 51-70 Handicap Stakes over the minimum distance. He has won on the all weather tracks of Southwell and Newcastle this year lets see if he can add a grass victory this evening. Jamie Spencer gets the leg up for Tom Morley and Glen Johnson.
