Robert Cowell Racing News

A busy day ahead…..

Four runners at Nottingham today, all should have arrived and be settled ahead of racing this afternoon.  First to go is MAJESTIC STONE who is making his debut today in the 2 pm 5 furlong Maiden Stakes.  He looks to be in great form, he is fast and working well here so should be nice and ready for his first start.  Paul Mulrennan takes the reins for Mr Ahmed Jaber.  Next up in the 4.40 pm 6 furlong Sprint Series Handicap is CAPTAIN BOB who is getting better and better and so deserves to get a win again as it has been some time now.   James Sullivan is on board, fingers crossed today for the Captain Bob Partnership.  Last to go are old adversaries INDIAN TINKER and RAINBOW ORSE who do love a little race together.  They do normally both like a little cut in the ground but they will always try their best no matter what.  They run in the last race on the card the 5.10 pm Handicap Stakes. INDIAN TINKER is being ridden by James Doyle for Mr Jeff Sargeant and RAINBOW ORSE has Daniel Tudhope on board for Mr Glen Johnson.

Our other three travel to Kempton Park.  CHANDRESH and EDITH WESTON go against each other for the first time in the 5 furlong Handicap Stakes at 5.40 pm, both hard working fillies will give a good account today.  Keiran O Neill rides CHANDRESH for owner/breeder Manor Farm Stud with a visor on for the first time.  Aaron Jones rides EDITH WESTON for Miss Sheila Hoare. Good luck to both.  Our last runner of the day is CAPOLAVORO who has been remarkably consistent since joining us this year, he is certainly ready for another win today. Lets see how he goes in the 9.10 pm 7 furlong Handicap Stakes. Pat Cosgrave rides him again for Mr Cyril Humphris.
