Three Runners Today……
First to go this afternoon is DESERT COMMAND who runs in the Handicap Stakes race at 3.30 pm. He has been ultimately quite disappointing so far this year but we know he has the ability as he shows this at home. We feel the return to turf and the track conditions that Brighton has to offer might give him a bit more interest today. Martin Harley rides for the Hadida family.
Next off is 3 year old KING COLE who makes his second start after winning on his debut back in October last year. He has improved and strengthened up physically over the winter months and he has a great engine on him. He should do well today but this looks to be a competitive race. He races in the 6.30 pm Handicap Stakes with Oisin Murphy on board in the silks of Mr Khalifa Dasmal.
Our last to go is WESTBOURNE GROVE who has just left the yard on his way to Lingfield Park for the 7.25 pm Median Auction Maiden Stakes. On the figures he would have been better off in a handicap but he is ready and has been working nicely at home. He should give his owners a fun evening out. Jim Crowley rides in the colours of Mr K Quinn and Mr C Benham.
