Non- Runner At Doncaster . . .
SECRETINTHEPARK has been made a non-runner at Doncaster today . . . Disappointing as it may be, as the Portland Stakes is a valuable Handicap at this point in the season. However, as always the best interests of the horse is in mind and we have leant our lesson through-out this first year with him – He is very much against Soft ground conditions and acts well on quicker ground. He did set off early this morning, however will be turned around on his journey up north as we have reports of persistent rain at Doncaster and this will not suit at all come race time . . . There will be other opportunities and other days for this game horse, who has given his connections some fun days out and plenty to cheer about this season so far . . .
HOT STREAK and IFFRANESIA have arrived in Ireland and we are delighted to see the official going to be updated at Good to Yielding at the Curragh, with a bit more rain due between now and racing on Sunday . . . GOLDREAM is currently on route to Paris, having set out in the early hours of this morning. The ground is still officially Good there. However what rain they may or may not get is still debatable – Fingers crossed none at all!!! . . .
