Newcastle and Haydock Park….
Two runners left yesterday afternoon to make the long journey North East to Newcastle, the horses and the staff enjoyed a relaxed evening ahead of today’s racing.
WASLAWI is the first to go in the Maiden Stakes at 1.50pm. This 2 year old did not like the fast ground on his last start at Brighton so conditions at Newcastle will definately be more to his liking today. We have stepped him back up in trip to his preferred 6 furlongs. Robert Winston takes the ride for Mr Abdullah Al Mansoori.
3 year old GRAND BEAUTY goes in the next Maiden Race at 2.20pm, she just ran out of gas on her last trip on the stiff, climbing track at Beverley so 5 furlongs on the flatter track today should be more suitable today. Graham Lee is on board for Mr Jaber Abdullah.

GREEN DOOR travels up to the North West ahead of the 3.10pm Handicap Stakes race. He makes his second appearance for our yard after the Shergar Cup Dash Stakes at Ascot at the beginning of August. Andrea Atzeni gets the leg up for Pearl Bloodstock and Mrs John Redvers.
