SECRETINTHEPARK….
What a great start to Shergar Cup Day we had with SECRETINTHEPARK grabbing victory in the first race of the afternoon the Shergar Dash Stakes with Kerrin McAvoy on board for the rest of the world team. This hard working gelding has been threatening a win for sometime now and we are delighted for his owners Mia Racing and all their family and friends. GREEN DOOR also ran with Jamie Spencer on board for UK and Ireland team but he got squeezed out towards the final stages of the race. We have an excellent history with this race with both our Kings Stand winners PROHIBIT taking victory in 2010 and GOLDREAM winning last year.
3 year old filly CLASSIC ROSES made her racecourse debut at Redcar on Saturday afternoon. On the long journey we discovered she was in season but the decision was made to run her and she will no doubt benefit from the education. We will be looking closely at future entries for her in the next few days.
No runners for the yard today, we have two declared for Nottingham tomorrow and one declared at Bath for Wednesday so watch this space for more news….
