RAINBOW ORSE wins at Nottingham…..
This lovely little chap showed a heroic fighting attitude when completely outpaced at Nottingham yesterday, they obviously went out too fast from the start but he clawed them back to win cosily. This is his 2nd win from three starts this year so we are obviously delighted for his owner Mr Glen Johnson.
Our other two runners of the day NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM and STUNNED ran together at Newmarket yesterday. NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM showed signs of his early zip probably racing a little too freely. On a flatter track with a few more pounds off his back he could well be visiting the winners circle again. STUNNED was short of room at a vital stage but he flew up the hill in the closing stages and we feel was a little unlucky. He is definitely going in the right direction and one to watch.
Today’s runners….
QUEEN ZAIN travels to Wolverhampton for the Maiden Stakes at 2.50pm. She is a lovely filly with a great attitude, she may not travel the principles today but we feel she is definately one to follow for the future.
We have two runners in the 9pm HANDICAP STAKES at Newmarket this evening. FREEZONE has been a little disappointing so far this year but his last run on the all weather track at Chelmsford gave us the impression he could be making a return to form. The ground may not quite be to his liking today. INDIAN TINKER ran really well on Tuesday on his first start out of the season to finish in 2nd place at Brighton. We are rolling the dice again today before they potentially raise his handicap mark.
