Bank Holiday Runners . . .

We have several runners today on Bank Holiday Monday . . .

REPECHAGE and RAHMAH head to Leicester together for the 3.15pm and 3.50pm respectively . . . We are stepping REPECHAGE up on this occasion from her last outing over 6 furlongs at Newmarket.  She was outpaced that day in the early stages, however stayed on up the hill.  We feel she may aim to race at 1 mile later in the season, but today we stop in-between, at 7 furlongs.  This stiff track should suit her well in what is a fillies only event . . . RAHMAH will then make his handicap début, having broken his Maiden at the end of April . . . He is quite a lightly made horse, so we do strongly feel he is best suited to carrying less weight in a higher quality of race.  Despite not being particularly robust he is a gutsy and tough horse.  Fingers crossed this will stand him in good stead throughout his career . . .

JUST US TWO heads solo to Windsor for the 2.20pm, 5 furlong Handicap . . . He is a lovely Royal Applause colt, who progressed with each of his three races last season, wining on his third start.  This race may just do him the world of good today, however he has wintered well here on the stud and we are optimistic on his future career as it progresses.  We very much hope he is one to watch throughout the season ahead . . .

All of our runners from Friday and Saturday, all returned home well and have been having a few mornings playing around in the paddock to unwind from their races . . . Sadly the ground just caught GOLDREAM out in the Temple Stakes, having gone just that bit too soft.  He is likely to now head straight for Royal Ascot next month.  KINGSGATE NATIVE got no run at all.  His Jockey was fuming as he unsaddled, as given a clear run at the half way point he would have been in for a real chance to get close the front.  All being well he now holds an entry back at Haydock Park on Saturday.  All our other runners, despite not winning were in encouraging in their own way, with a couple of them making seasonal débuts from a long time off the track . . .
