Robert Cowell Racing Team News . . .
We have five runners today . . .
Two travelled up to Redcar early this morning . . . RAINBOW ORSE bids to back up his Maiden win at Musselburgh a week ago in the 2.50pm, handicap today. He is more than capable in an event like this, however he has done rather a lot of travelling this week and we are not quite sure how he will react to that . . . QUITE SMART ran well on her seasonal début at Goodwood a few weeks ago. That run will have brought her on and hopefully today is a good opportunity for her in the 3.20pm, Fillies only Maiden over 7 furlongs . . .
COMEDY NIGHT has his second outing, having made his career début at Brighton two weeks ago. He behaved like a true professional that day and ran with plenty of credit in what was a very windy day and tough conditions to cope with . . . He is the only horse in the race with racecourse experience today and finger crossed that will work to his advantage in the 6.15pm at Leicester . . .
We then have two in the 8.35pm, 5 furlong Handicap at Windsor tonight . . . TWIN TURBO and THE WIPSE go ahead to head . . . Both should handle the Softer conditions there tonight. TWIN TURBO has run well for us on the all weather tracks, in particular at Chelmsford City. This is his return to turf for some time . . . THE WISPE ran well a couple of weeks ago on her seasonal début at Nottingham. This will have done her the world of good and she seemingly bumped in to two that evidently were very well handicapped on that occasion. Fingers crossed she can run well tonight off of a low weight . . .
