Busy Morning . . .
It has been a rather busy Good Friday work morning here at the Stud . . . We have had six lots out galloping, as the rest of our string continue their very important ground work and cantering away . . . All look to have taken that extra step up again today, which is very pleasing to see . . . So many now are getting closer and closer to being race fit and ready to make their 2015 débuts!! . . .
It was glorious spring day in Newmarket yesterday. The winds and rain of the previous few days had subsided and it was a calm, blue sky day . . . The paddocks on the stud are starting to look beautifully full, bright green and back to life again after the winter . . . Before we know it, the grass will be knee high and needing to be topped! It is full of wonderful goodness this time of year for all the horses on a break from training, resting, retired, Mares and foals. It will do them the world of good, along with the (Fingers crossed!) warmer weather! . . .
We look forward to a runner or two next week and we wish you all a very happy Easter . . .
