New Purchases . . .
It has been a hectic few weeks at all the sales buying yearlings and older horses. It is nice now to have a few days free from sales and take stock of the new individuals that have joined us . . . We have 18 yearlings in already. A mixtures of colts and fillies brought from Goffs in Ireland, Tattersaslls in Newmarket, Keeneland in America and homebreds . . . Majority are now already broken in and ridden away with the string, which is always exciting to see . . . We were also delighted with the two purchases made at this weeks Tattersalls Horses In Training sale in Newmarket . . . We brought two colts consigned by Juddmonte; A Mizzen Mast – Lot 1149 called DORNOCH and a Shamardal – Lot 1145 called STUNNED. Both three-year-olds and lightly raced in France. They will both now enjoy a winters break before we begin with them for the 2015 season . . .
