Saturday Runner News . . .

We have six runners today.  Four at Sandown Park and two at Beverley . . .

The four at Sandown Park are – IFFRANESIA, NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM, FREE ZONE and ZAIN EMPIRE . . . The first three mentioned race in the 2.05pm Handicap sprint . . . IFFRANESIA has been in excellent form this season and we could not have asked more from her since she joined us under a year ago.  She did however put in a below par performance last time out.  The ground was a little on the quick side for her in the end that day and also in the big field she failed to find some space to stretch out in – being a big filly this is crucial to her.  She has Adam Beschizza in the saddle once again for Mr C Humphris . . . NORMAL EQUILIBRIUM has been very consistent this season and has been knocking on the door for his next win.  He has a wide draw today and this could test him greatly but we do hope he can give his all once again.  He will have Andrea Atzeni on board for Mr T Morley and Mrs J Morley . . . FREE ZONE is our third runner in the race.  He again is looking like he has a win in him very soon.  Sadly today he does also have a high draw and at Sandonw Park this can be a huge factor in the final result.  However the ground is right for him and we do hope he can show us his true colours today with Jim Crowley in charge for the Fromthestable.com partnership . . . We then have ZAIN EMPIRE ready to race in the 5.00pm, three-year-old mile handicap . . .  He is showing a good level of form at this early stage in his racing career.  We believe he is steadily improving and can only get better.  He should like the ground today and all being well we hope he notches up his second victory today.  He races with James Doyle for Mr Asaad Al Banwan . . .

KINGSGATE NATIVE is back in action today at Beverley.  He is once again proving his class this year and has run some great races for Cheveley Park Stud.  He drops in class today and the ground should be ideal for him.  He has Tony Hamilton on board for the first time today and finger crossed he can get his head in front in the 2.25pm, Beverley Bullet Listed sprint over 5f . . . QUICK TOUCH will then line up for the 5.20pm, 5f Maiden Stakes.  He also has the same Jockey in the saddle for Malih Al Basti . . . This gelded son of Kyllachy may find it difficult to beat the top two in the betting today but should not be far away from winning in the near future . . .
