Iffranesia & Oasis Mirage Win . . .
We have been thrilled in the last few days to have two fillies win . . .
IFFRANESIA won again at Ascot on Friday, 25th July in a 5f Handicap. Just prior to her race it had rained, turning the ground a little on the soft side. She seems to handle any sort of ground condition at the moment and that is her seventh win since joining us from France in October last year for her owner and breeder, Mr Cyril Humphris. She is seemingly going from strength to strength . . .
We then saw OASIS MIRAGE win at Lingfield Park yesterday, Monday 28th July in the 4.15pm Maiden Stakes over 5f. We were delighted to see this daughter of Oasis Dream strike for her owners and breeders, Cheveley Park Stud. She is a very well bred filly from a wonderfully successful family, of which Cheveley Park will have spent a great deal of time and money on developing. We are just so glad to have cracked her maiden and hopefully onwards and upwards from here in the handicap sector. She has learnt a huge amount from her début race and looks to be really getting the hang of things now. She got a perfect ride from her jockey, Frederik Tylciki . . .
It is always important and satisfying to of course have winner, but even more so with fillies as this hopefully secures their breeding future, especially for their owners and breeder . . .
