Copper Cavalier Wins On Friday Evening . . .
We were absolutely thrilled to see Copper Cavalier win at Wolverhampton on Friday evening for his owners Mrs D Rix, Mr J Partridge and partners . . . This was his sixth career start to date, having made his debut as a two-year-old in September. He has done a lot of growing up and learning since then; improving with each and every race. He ran over a mile at Kempton Park two weeks ago. We were a little unsure if he saw the mile out, but the race was run very slowly and we felt he had enough speed for the 7f trip. He got a good ride from his Jockey, Adam Beschizza on his winning performance, although a little slowly away on Friday, but settled and led just over two furlongs out. We could not be more happy for all connected . . .
