Plenty Of Weekend Runners . . .
We have a jam packed few days ahead of us . . .
Tomorrow we have fours runners domestically spread over three different racetracks. Victory Laurel heads to Ascot for the Bengough Stakes, the 6f Group3 event. He has retained Jockey, Jamie Spencer on board for Qatar Racing Limited . . . Reqaaba will travel the very short distance to the Newmarket Rowley Mile racetrack for the 4.45pm, Fillies Listed race over 6f. She has Martin Lane in the saddle for HOH Stable . . . Skinny Love and Diva Delight will be at Wolverhampton for the 8.05pm and 8.40pm respectively. Adam Beschizza takes the ride on both for us.
Very early Saturday morning, Jwala, Kingsgate Native and Spirit Quartz will load on to a BBA horsebox to make their way across the Channel to France, via the Eurotunnel. They will stable over night in preparation for the Arc meeting at Longchamp on Sunday, 6th October, where they are engaged to run in the Qatar Prix De L’Abbaye, Group 1 over 5f at 1.45pm (local). Jwala is running off the back of her Group 1 victory in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York in August. She has Steve Drowne partnering her once again for Manor Farm Stud. Kingsgate Native has Shane Kelly as per usual in the colours of Cheveley Park Stud. Spirit Quartz has Jamie Spencer booked for Qatar Racing Limited. Spirit Quartz also has an entry in the Arqana Arc Sale at Saint-Cloud the night before.
Once again early Sunday morning a BBA horsebox will make its way to us to collect Goldream and Maglietta Fina to also go across to France for a 5.5f, Listed race, Prix de Bonneval at Chantilly on Monday, 7th October at 2.35pm (local). They will stable at Chantilly over night and return to us after racing on Monday. Goldream will have Steve Drowne in the saddle and Maglietta Fina will have Italian Jockey, C Demuro on board . . .
