Group 1 Winner . . .
We are all so delighted to have witness Jwala run such a fantastic race, winning her first Group 1 in the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York yesterday. She ran a wonderful race, tracking the leaders and the front pace,down the middle of the track, picking up smoothly to easily take the lead and strike for Gold. We are delighted for her connections, owners and breeders, Manor Farm Stud and Miss S Hoare. She has been a lovely filly to have in training since a two-year-old, such a kind and easy temperament, which makes it even more special to have watched her win so well yesterday . . . She will now make her way across the channel for the Arc Weekend in October at Longchamp in the Prix De L’Abbaye . . . She has a half-brother by Exceed and Excel selling at Tattersalls, Book 1 Yearling sale on 8th – 10th October – Lot 468.
Today we have two runners. Normal Equilibrium races in the 5.35pm, Class 2, Apprentice Handicap over 5f at York. He has Charles Bishop on board for Qatar Racing Limited. Arctic Lynx will line up for the 5.40pm, Handicap over 5f at Newmarket, with Jim Crowley on board for The Heading For The Rocks Partnership . . .
