Yarmouth and Tipperary…

Our first runners head to the Norfolk coast for racing at Yarmouth this afternoon.  First up at 2.20 pm in the 46-60 Handicap over 5 furlongs runs Swell Song, she made her seasonal debut at Nottingham at the beginning of June and we have been waiting for the right follow up race since, she will have needed that run to get back into the swing of things and hopefully she should show up well in this field today.  Good luck to Tom Queally who rides for her owner and breeder Mr Southcott.  To the 2.50 pm where Exciting Days heads down to post for the EBF 6 furlong Novice Stakes, making only his second career start after a promising debut at Chelmsford 2 weeks ago.  Lets see if he likes the change to the turf.  Luke Morris gets the leg up in the colours of Mr Khalifa Dasmal.

Exciting 2 year old Strive for Glory will be settled in nicely at Tipperary ahead of his race this evening, he takes on a relatively small field in the 6.45 pm Listed Tipperary Stakes over 5 furlongs.  This lovely chap showed a great turn of foot to come in a brilliant 4th place in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot although on softer ground than what is on offer today in Ireland.  He is a plucky chap and we have no doubt he will put in a good performance.  He is partnered today with Billy Lee so good luck to him and to owner Tom Morley.
