Thursday saw us leave early this morning with 2 year old Taste the Nectar on her way to Doncaster for the 2.10 pm EBF Fillies Nursery Handicap over 6.5 furlongs. Her last turf start showed us some good speed and conditions are pretty similar today. Fingers crossed Jane Elliott can keep her involved in the action and they show up well for owner Tom Morley.
A little closer to home at Chelmsford Maid Millie heads down to post for the 6.20 pm 6 furlong Handicap, she has been showing some good form on her last few starts so it really is about time she broke her maiden, lets hope talented apprentice Angus Villiers can make that happen today for Mr Khalifa Dasmal.
Last but not least the lovely Encor D’Or takes on a nice small field at 7.20 pm in the 5 furlong Handicap, he is such a super hard working horse and relishes the all weather, he has not had a win since January so we feel it should be about time he was back on the score sheet. Good luck to PJ McDonald and owning partnership Mrs Morley, Mr Johnson and Newsells Park Stud who will all be cheering him home tonight.
