Robert Cowell Racing News

Saturday at Kempton

Saturday will be a hectic one with five horses leaving the yard early on to travel to Kempton Park ahead of an exciting afternoon of racing.

First to go in the 1.30 pm Novice Stakes over the minimum trip and making his career start is 2 year old Sir Ox owned by Mr Khalifa Dasmal.  He is working nicely and has been showing us that he knows his job here at home and we will all look forward to seeing how he gets on for the experience.  Luke Morris gets the leg up.

Onto the 2.05 pm 5 furlong 86-105 Handicap Stakes where Evergate, Green Door and Jumira Bridge take on the rest of the field.  Jumira Bridge makes his yard debut bought at the Autumn Tattersalls Horses in Training sale for 100,000 Guineas, Jim Crowley rides for Mrs Morley. Evergate and Green Door make their seasonal debuts and are ridden by Tom Marquand and Jonathan Fisher respectively.  Good luck to The Ever Hopefuls and Mr and Mrs Henry.

Last to run at 2.40 pm in the 6 furlong 86-105 Handicap Stakes is Raucous also making his yard debut and seasonal debut.  Bought by Tom Morley at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale for 110,000 Guineas.  He is ready for racing again and we look forward to seeing him in action.  Jim Crowley takes the reins.
