News On Our Runners Today . . .

At the start of the day we had two planned runners; Canadian Danehill at Nottingham and R Woody at Newmarket.

Unfortunately we have had to make R Woody a non-runner this evening in the 5.55pm at Newmarket.  The ground has remained unchanged at Good to Firm.  They were due up to 10mm on Wednesday but we hardly saw any rain here in Newmarket!!  He will now be entered for Newmarket again on Friday/Saturday, and we keep our fingers crossed for some rainfall.

Canadian Danehill is however a certain runner.  He made his way to Nottingham this morning for the 3.15pm, 5f Handicap stakes.  At ten-years-old he is now an old timer at this and having reached a height of winning several class 2 handicaps in 2010, this is something he is unlikely to do again.  However he is capable of winning the odd little race now and again.  We will keep our fingers crossed for a good run today.
