Newmarket and Goodwood…

An exciting day of racing awaits us on Saturday as we see our runners heading for Goodwood and Newmarket.

Ahead of the featured race at Newmarket we have Encor D’or and Jumira Bridge in the 5 furlong Palace House Stakes at 2.20 pm this is usually an exciting race and we look forward to seeing both horses take part.  Jumira Bridge is partnered by Jim Crowley in the second colours of Mrs Morley and Encor D’or by James Doyle in Mrs Morley’s first colours also for Newsells Park Stud and Glen Johnson. Then after the big race we get to see Grandfather Tom make his next bid for victory in the 81-100 6 furlong Handicap at 4.10pm he is a lovely trying young horse and we are sure he will put in all the effort with regular partner stable jockey Eoin Walsh for Mr Jeff Sargeant.

Onto Goodwood where we will see Green Door and Leo Minor go down to post together for the 3.15 pm 81-95 5 furlong Handicap Race.  Leo Minor has come close on his last two starts last month so has been showing some huge promise.  Tom Marquand rides in the colours of Mr Tom Morley.  Green Door has also been showing signs of improvement he is partnered with stable jockey Jonny Fisher who know each other very well.  He gets the leg up for Mr and Mrs Henry.
