Newbury and Bath today…..
To Newbury first where SIR ROBERT CHEVAL kicks off his season in the 4.40 pm Handicap Stakes over 5 furlongs, which is a new trip for him having stuck to 6 furlongs since he joined us last year. Regular yard jockey Adam Beschizza rides him today for The Heart of the South Racing team who are all eagerly awaiting his return to the track.
Onto Bath where newcomers EVIL SPELL and SHRILL line up together for the Listed Lansdown Fillies Stakes at 6pm. Both horses make their debuts for the yard today. SHRILL starts her campaign in the UK having previously been racing in Ireland and EVIL SPELL has enjoyed success in similar listed races in Italy. Both look to be fine sorts and we look forward to seeing how they fair today.
