May Girl sells ….

Our very own born and bred 2 year old May Girl sold last night for a fabulous 140,000 guineas on day three of the Tattersalls Mares Sale.  She was out of Instructress another of our mares who comes from a long line of females bred here at Bottisham Heath Stud and Mayson for a very small nomination at the start of his breeding career.  May Girl made her debut in June and by July had broken her maiden winning a Plus 10 race at Sandown, then another Plus 10 at York which was swiftly followed up by a 3rd spot in the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster earning her some valuable black type.  She is off to the USA now for the next stage of her career, she is a lovely filly and we will all be sad to see her go and we wish her and her new owners all the best for the future. Sadly her mum Instructress was sold at last years mares sale but we have the last of her offspring a bay filly by Foxwedge who goes into training this year, watch this space on more news on her and with a bit of luck she will be just as exciting as her half sister.
