Friday, Saturday and Sunday..
Friday … first off we have Evergate and Jumira Bridge on their way to Lingfield Park, they head to post together for the 3.25 pm 81-95 Handicap its a small field and both horses have been putting in the work at home and in their last starts. Both horses are well overdue a win, so fingers crossed it will be a first and second today!?. Evergate is partnered with James Doyle for the Ever Hopefuls and Jumira Bridge has Jim Crowley on board for Mrs Morley. Both horses will try cheekpieces for the first time. Onto Nottingham where our very own home bred Adventurous Girl makes her career debut with our stable jockey Jonny Fisher onboard in the 5.10pm Fillies Novice Median Auction Stakes – she is ready for the experience and we will all be watching to see how well they fair together. Last up as Ascot we see Raucous take on the rest of the field in the 7.40pm 81-95 Handicap, he certainly has lots of ability and we would be delighted if he can show us what he has in him today. We have added cheekpieces and a tongue strap and he will be ably paired today with Jamie Spencer – good luck to Tom Morley.
Saturday… sees us back to Nottingham and Ascot. Firstly Master Poet who makes his eagerly anticipated seasonal debut for the Heart of the South racing syndicate. He has been gelded since making his career start back in October. He heads to Nottingham ready for the 2.05 pm 6 furlong Novice Stakes with Gerard Mosse getting the leg up. Then to Ascot for Sir Ox where he makes his first turf start, he is certainly ready for more racecourse experience and he runs at 4.35 pm in the 5 furlong Novice Stakes. Sylvestre de Sousa rides in the pink and green silks of Mr Khalifa Dasmal.
The early hours of Saturday morning also sees the departure of two horses to France ready for racing on Sunday at Paris Longchamp. Pocket Dynamo and So Hi Speed who together came in 1st and 2nd at a race on the all weather at Chelmsford only last week. Both look to be very speedy individuals and we anticipate they should do well again. They run at 2.30pm local time in the Prix Du Cherche Midi over the minimum distance. We have kept the hood on Pocket Dynamo and he will be partnered with Mickael Barzalona for Tom Morley and So Hi Speed will be ridden by Alexis Badel for Nick Bradley Racing.
