Friday and Saturday…

Two runners today have left the yard on their way to Kempton Park for an evening on the all weather.  First off is Orvar who takes on the competition at 6.15 pm in the 71-85 Handicap Stakes over 5 furlongs.  This is his debut on all weather so it will be interesting to see how he gets on.  Good luck to Martin Harley who rides in the green silks of Saleh Al Homaizi & Imad Al Sagar. Making his yard debut since joining us recently in the 8.45 pm 66-80 Handicap stakes over a mile is 4 year old Gambit. He has made some great runs on the all weather track with his previous trainer so we are looking forward to see him in action.  Fergus Sweeney rides for Laurence Bellman & Caroline Ingram.

Only one runner on Saturday and that is Outback Traveller  who heads up to York ahead of the 3.15 pm Sprint Trophy Handicap Stakes over 6 furlongs. We are trying him in cheekpieces for the first time today, lets see if this helps keep his focus in this pretty competitive large field. He is a lovely horse and we would love to see him get a good break and see himself involved at the front of the field.  Harry Bentley takes the reins today for Mrs Morley and Lordship Stud.
