Busy Weekend . . .

We have a rather busy weekend ahead of us! . . . Over Saturday and Sunday we have ten runners . . .

Today we have Ascot, Haydock Park and Thirsk . . .

OUTBACK TRAVELLER, EVERGATE and OCELOT are all at Ascot – All three hold very game chances at 5.05pm and 5.40pm respectively.  The ground is Soft but this should not be too much of a problem for any of them.  All three are exciting horses to have in the yard . . .

GREEN DOOR and ORVAR travel to Haydock Park together for the 3.00pm.  GREEN DOOR ran a super race last week at Tipperary in Listed company.  ORVAR is a consistent servant and one who is so capable.  Both have live chances to go close for a nice pot of prize money – The ground will be a slog though as it is now Heavy! . . .

STORM OVER goes solo to Thirsk for the 5.45pm.  He is a lovely colt who is lightly raced, and loves these conditions under foot.  He should show himself in good light today . . .

Tomorrow we have Chantilly and York . . .

EVIL SPELL has travelled over to France for the Prix Du Petit Couvert, a Group 3 over the minimum trip;  A race we have won preiveously.  She has been lightly raced for us this season as she loves to get her toe in and unfrotnuaetley each time we have had her due to run the sun has shone!! . . .She get the ground at Chantilly and bids to gain a bit more Black Type for her future Broodmare page . . .

ORNATE, DAZZLE GOLD and MAY GIRL all go North to York.  ORNATE has had a superb time of things lately.  We have learnt a bit more about him each time he has raced for us this season.  We seem to have found the key to him and we are sure there is more to come from this game horse.  DAZZLE GOLD is a stunning colt by Lemon Drop Kid, whom we purchased from the Breeze Up sales in the spring.  He is talented and we look forward to him showing what he can do as he matures and grows.  He is learning all the time.  MAY GIRL is a special filly to us.  Bred here and still owned by us, we have all known her since brith, so to see her go on and compete sussessfully is such a thrill.  Being a daughter of MAYSON, she loves the Good to Soft going.  She also holds a Group 2 entry next week in the Flying Childers.  She will have our Apprentice Jockey, Jonathon Fisher on board again, who knows her very well.

PLENTY to cheer on this weekend! . . . Lets hope we welcome home a few winners for all our connections . . .
